XRF and Sieve

NESET offers advanced cutting analysis services that include handheld XRF spectrometers and portable benchtop XRF analyzers. NESET team members are trained to use the XRF equipment in the field or in the NESET laboratory.

Data can be imported onto the mudlog to your specifications. Data can be collected in the field and analyzed for real-time data analysis that can help determine wellbore placement for optimal reservoir evaluation.

X-ray fluorescence (XRF) is a non-destructive analyzer that yields elemental analysis. XRF is commonly used in unconventional plays especially in exploratory stages.

Service includes:

  • Customizable XRF data curves can be added to your mudlog in both the vertical and horizontal
  • Mineral curve setup to the Oil Companies specifics

Advanced cutting analysis

Geochemical Analysis (Field & Laboratory)
  • X-ray fluorescence (XRF)

Grain Size Analysis (Field & Laboratory)

  • Stacked sieves
  • Distribution of grain sizes for each sample displayed on grain size analysis chart
  • Stacked sieve analysis for active drill cuttings in the vertical, curve and lateral
NESET offers sieve/screen analysis for active drilling cutting and sand control completions analysis.
